In loving memory we say goodbye
Cynthia Louise Fox (Howard) passed away in the early hours of Sunday, February 16th, at her home in Cowichan Bay. Just 7 days after her 63rd birthday.
She left this world feeling the love of her family, who made time to visit her as her health declined.
Born on Saltspring Island, she grew up between there and Nanaimo before she met her husband and raised their children on the farm in Cowichan Station.
Thia was an eccentric multifaceted artist who enjoyed creating beautiful things, cooking for her family, gardening and looking after many different animals.
After suffering a stroke in August of 2022 Then spent her remaining years looking after herself with the help of her daughter Justis on their hobby farm in Cowichan Bay. During this time she reunited with her children whom she loved and missed, and had the opportunity to meet her many grandchildren.
She leaves us to meet her parents (Fred Howard, Diane Peterson) and her late husband (Michael Fox)
She is survived by her children (Celena, Bradly, Lonie, Jenni, Justis, Zoë) and grandchildren (Nixon, Linkin, Maddison, Auggie, Teddy, Kennedi, Bellemy)
We ask that you remember her infectious laughter, her insatiable curiosity and creativity. And her care for everything great to small.
